Somewhere in the middle of the beautiful Black Forest of Germany is the quaint little town of Triberg, the original home of the delicious Black Forest Cake.
Also located just at the upper edge of the town are the highest waterfalls in Germany.
During my visit to this beautiful town I had the chance to take a short hike outside from the town’s train station to the location of the world’s largest cuckoo clock and also the world’s smallest working cuckoo clock.
But the spectacular waterfalls are definetly the highlight. You can easily spend a few hours just exploring and absorbing the beauty of the waterfalls and the forest surrounding it.
A short bus ride away is the fascinating open farm museum, Black Forest Museum (Schwarzwaldmuseum)
